We are recruiting for an Apprentice to join our Sefton team. We are looking for someone who has interest in a customer facing role and willingness to undertake training. You will be earning a wage whilst you gain a NVQ Level 2 Customer Service qualification with a view to progressing onto an NVQ Level 3 in Information, Advice and Guidance.

You will be joining a team of friendly staff who are making a huge difference to the lives of young people in the Sefton area, we are therefore looking for a Sefton resident.

You will support young people into Employment, Education and Training opportunities.

We will give you all the training and support you will need, so that you can:
• gain experience of a busy working office
• carry out visits in the Community with other members of the team
• answer the telephone and take messages
• help with follow up phone calls
• input data to the computer system
• use social media to promote our services
• achieve a valuable qualification
• progress with your own career

Our working week is 35 hours but we do have staff that work part time also. We believe that part-time workers have a valuable contribution to make to our workforce.

This is in addition to all the bank holidays and you’ll enjoy an occasional flexi-day too!

We have generous apprenticeship salary grades from – £11,600 to £13,100 per year and you will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The position is fixed term for the duration of the qualification, in most cases lasting up to 12 months and we hope you will choose to stay with us and progress through to a higher-level role on a permanent basis. Could you see yourself as an Engagement Worker or Careers Coach in the future?
