We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional person to join our team of dedicated Coaches working on the National Careers Service delivering information, advice and guidance services to adults 18+ across the Cheshire and Warrington area.
We are especially looking for applicants who can connect with people to help move them forward in their careers and are able to embrace quality and compliance requirements whilst working towards targets.
The successful candidate will work in a range of partner agency venues so flexibility is key, you will be required to work and travel to different sites. Some delivery may include digital channels.
During the current period of restrictions, most staff on this contract are working from home. It is likely that the the NCS team would undertake a period of training and then deliver much of their role from home, whilst we follow government guidance.
A Level 3 IAG qualification would be considered, as for the right candidate, we will invest in their professional development by offering the IAG Level 4 qualification during their first year of employment.
Full in-house training will also be given to enable you to do the job. We will also provide you with a laptop, mobile phone and relevant resources so you’ll be well equipped to deliver the role.
We know that some people are looking for part time work and we can offer flexible working arrangements, so if you’re only looking for 3 or 4 days a week, please don’t be put off. We believe that part-time workers have a valuable contribution to make to our workforce.
National Career Service Coaches are paid between £18,000 to £23,052 (for a 35h week) and you will be reimbursed for any additional travel, beyond your main base of work.
