Key Worker (Perm)

Salary: £23,266 – £26,217 

Location: Salford

We are Recruiting Key Workers

Salary up to £26,217, full time, permanent

We are launching a new learning and employment service within Greater Manchester’s Probation Service to help people into learning and employment. The key worker role involves working with people subject to community supervision orders, to help them achieve positive outcomes in learning, training and employment. Our key workers are based in local Probation Service offices across Greater Manchester.

We are seeking proactive, good communicators, able to connect with people and effective at working with partner organisations to achieve the best results. If you have experience working with offenders or other disadvantaged people, we’d love to hear from you.

Recording accurate information on participant plans is a vital part of the job. You should have a strong eye for detail, be comfortable working with IT systems and able to research new opportunities for your case load. We will provide all training needed to perform the job and support you to get established in the role.

Your package

Full time and part time roles are available. Our full-time staff enjoy a 35h working week and we also offer flexitime – so if we ask you to do extra hours, we’ll make sure you can take them back another time.

The salary for this position is up to £26,217 with reimbursement for any additional travel, plus various benefits, including great training, career progression, birthday leave, Perkbox, Green Cycle to Work scheme and lots more. Holidays start at 25 days + Bank Holidays, increasing with longer service.
