Primary School Quality Award

Embedding careers confidence across your primary school

The Career Connect Primary School Quality Award provides a clear framework for career-related learning from Early Years to Key Stage 2.

Career Connect is a licensed awarding body for the Primary School Quality Award. It is endorsed by the national Quality in Careers Standard Consortium Board.

Ongoing support

Individual school accreditation lasts for three years and recognises your school as a place of best practice and innovation in career-related learning.

We provide a dedicated, expert assessor, who will co-ordinate and mentor you through the award process, through supportive assessment meetings.

The aim is for your school to achieve sustainable outcomes from completing the Primary Award, such as increased pupil satisfaction, positive behaviour, and improved educational, economic, and social outcomes.

“The journey of pursuing the Careers Quality Mark has been both rewarding and transformative for our school.”

Sarah Bond, Headteacher and PHSE Lead, Eccleston Lane Ends Primary School.

Primary Award Reaccreditation

The Primary Quality Award Reaccreditation is applicable for any school or college that has previously completed a Career Connect Primary Quality Award mark that is due to expire three years after completion.

The reaccreditation allows for the renewal of the quality mark and the reassurance of a high standard of careers programme delivery.

You do not need to have completed your original accreditation with Career Connect to undertake reaccreditation with us.
