Three course options but lots of ways to learn…

We deliver three course options on behalf of the Career Enterprise Company: Core, Extended and Top-up.

With more than 20 years’ experience, we understand that every learner has different needs. That’s why we are proud to be the only provider to deliver face-to-face learning or distance learning for all courses.

Our delivery of the Careers Leader programme is adapted to suit you and your learning style.

We offer options to complete the Core units as an accredited or non-accredited qualification; Extended units as an accredited or non-accredited qualification; and the Top-Up for individuals who have completed the Careers Leader qualification more than three years ago and require a refresher.

Ways to learn:

The face-to-face pathway gives the candidate a named qualified assessor who will support them throughout delivery and learning, with flexible contact, learning, and assessment options available.

Distanced Learning allows the candidate to complete the programme at a pace that is suitable for them, while receiving support from the qualified training staff at Career Connect.

Your course options:

Core

The Core course is for individuals who want to learn  the basic modules required to plan an effective careers programme in schools or colleges. The Core course can be accredited or non-accredited and it consists of three days of delivery.

Accredited:

The accreditation means that the candidate will receive a qualification after completing the programme.

Non-accredited:

Upon finishing the non-accredited route, the candidate will receive a certificate of completion.

Course dates:

  • 23, 24, 25 September
  • 21, 22, 23 October

Top-up

Careers Leader Top-Up consists of two days of delivery. It is the perfect refresher for an individual who has previously completed a Careers Leader programme. The CEC recommendation is that the top-up is completed three years after the original Careers Leader programme has been completed.

A school wall with information on careers

I was able to instantly implement my learnings into the programmes and services that we were providing, which was perfect as it could be evidenced during the school’s Ofsted visit”.
