Who is this qualification for?

The Level 4 Certificate in Advice and Guidance qualification is ideal for experienced practitioners who work directly with people to disseminate information, advice, and guidance, and deliver formal advocacy. This course may also be suitable if your role is managerial or holds training responsibilities.

What will I learn?

This qualification will help you to:

  • Support others to prepare and complete their chosen actions
  • Develop skills in advocacy, mediation, representation, and formal proceedings
  • Work with other services using negotiation, liaison, and referral
  • Enable learning through groupwork, demonstration, and instruction
  • Work with legislative and procedural frameworks.

How will I learn?

You will study core mandatory units and then specialise, choosing optional units that relate to your work or areas that you wish to develop.

The Level 4 Certificate has units additional to the Level 3 Certificate that you are required to study.

To be able to complete the Level 4 Certificate in Advice and Guidance, you must be able to gain evidence from the workplace.
