We help people to achieve success, by helping them to get a job, get into training or education, or plan the next step in their career.
Our Achieve programme delivers the CFO3 contract across the north west. It is funded by HMPPS CFO and ESF.
By targeting such individuals, we aim ensure that people who aren’t currently accessing mainstream provision are supported into jobs. Our case managers offer intensive support to all programme participants. By doing this, we aim to provide a smoother journey towards employment and ease reintegration into the local community.
The programme began in July 2015 and runs until August 2023.
Our award-winning team has a proven track record of delivering His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) European Social Fund (ESF) programmes since 2010. Our case managers, partners and sub-contractors, provide specialist services in offender focused education, training, employment (ETE) and social inclusion.

Connect To Your Future is an engagement & mentoring programme for 15-19-year-olds in Greater Manchester who have been negatively affected by COVID-19.
Greater Manchester Combined Authority awarded Career Connect £5 million from the European Social Fund to deliver this strand of its NEET and Youth Employment Programme.
Connect To Your Future helps young people ‘not in education, employment or training’ (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET. COVID-19 has had many impacts on young people, including missed education, social isolation and anxiety. Many may feel disengaged from mainstream education and support services.
Our programme provides tailored mentoring and wellbeing support to help them achieve positive career outcomes. Our key workers work with local partners to support young people at key transition points in their career journey. These include leaving school or starting college, training or employment.
Connect To Your Future helps young people to identify their career options and identify learning and work opportunities. We also offer support and encouragement to help them build self-confidence, motivation and resilience to progress to sustainable career outcomes.
We aim to make a positive difference to the lives of young people.

GM ETE is commissioned by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) as part of the Greater Manchester’s Integrated Rehabilitative Services (GMIRS).
We operate from probation offices across the 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester: Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Wigan, Stockport, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside.
Our Key Worker supports the individual to create an action plan designed to help them achieve their learning and employment goals. We also deliver job clubs. The individual’s Key Worker will support that person throughout the process.
We have strong community links and work in partnership with a range of training and employment providers to help people on probation overcome barriers and build skills and experience, enhancing their life chances after custody.
We work closely with the other GMIRS providers. We collaborate with them to achieve positive outcomes, innovate and co-deliver to ensure that people on probation receive a seamless path to specialist support, helping to reduce re-offending and creating a successful pathway beyond their time on Probation.

Career Connect has been appointed by Local Authorities across the Liverpool City Region, Manchester and Salford to support young people, to ensure they are engaging with the range of work and learning opportunities.
Our dedicated community teams work alongside local partners, supporting young people with their career planning. We help young people identify how to move forward with career choices and overcome barriers they encounter. By tracking, we can identify participants who drop out and help them re-engage with education, employment and training.
Navigating the change from school to employment can be difficult for those young people who need extra encouragement and motivation to get their career on track. We offer a range of methods to help young people turn their career ambitions into reality. Among these are:
We take time to understand each young person’s career aims, their strengths and areas they need to develop. Consequently, this helps us to raise young people’s aspirations, including those who are hard to reach and from disadvantaged or minority backgrounds. We show them how our programmes can help them achieve their career goals and guide them through the steps they need to take.
Our teams work in the heart of the community they support, so we’re right where young people need us. This means they can access the right support to find the right way forward for them.
