If you are out of work Springboard gives you the support you need to get straight into employment.
You may have been made redundant recently, chosen to change your career or just left college – Springboard gives you the support you need to start your new career.
You will get personalised one-to-one wrap-around support to build on skills you already have and get applying for roles that are right for you.
As well as real support, you will have the chance to access a range of real jobs providing you with real opportunities for your future.
It’s not about just finding you a job but providing you with short term support to start your long term career.
Springboard is open to anyone aged 18 and above in Cheshire and Warrington who is unemployed and has the right to work in the United Kingdom.
How it works
When you join Springboard you work with one of our qualified expert employment advisors to get into employment as soon as possible. They have the knowledge, skills and local connections to help you make the most of skills you already have and find and start a new career and then stay in it.
The support you get is personalised and on a one-to-one basis with one of our advisors based around Cheshire and Warrington. You can meet with them locally face-to-face or online, whichever is best for you.
You will have the chance to meet with them at least once week but will be able to get in touch with them at any time.
Your advisor will work with you to build your confidence and really develop your skills and also provide practical support and training on things like developing a CV, interview technique and digital skills.
We work with small and medium sized local businesses offering a range of diverse roles and there are opportunities for you to take up one of these roles – potentially leading to a permanent full-time job.
Your advisor will be on hand to help you apply for these roles and other ones in Cheshire and Warrington and beyond that you may be suitable for as well as any training.
You can get support through Springboard for a maximum of 13 weeks but our aim is to get you into employment as quickly as possible.
Taking part in Springboard is completely free and will not impact on your access to benefits such as Universal Credit, but your employment advisor will be able to help make sure you are accessing the full range of benefits available to you and your family.
Who is it for?
Springboard is open to anyone aged 18 and above in Cheshire and Warrington who is unemployed and has the right to work in the United Kingdom (a valid passport or birth certificate will need to be shown. We can help you get these if you don’t have one).
