What's it like to be a Career Connect Youth Ambassador?

Hear from a few of our previous Youth Ambassadors about their experience. We recruit our Youth Ambassadors between August and December each year. Please fill in the form below, and we will let you now when applications open.

Welcome! I’m Alicia, Participation and Research Co-ordinator.

I really enjoy meeting our Youth Ambassadors each month—their ideas and feedback are key to shaping careers support that truly helps young people.

We create a fun, supportive space where you can connect with others and share your voice in whatever way works for you.

Each month, you’ll meet with me and charity staff to discuss different topics and share your views. We’ll always let you know how your input is used. We follow the Lundy model of meaningful participation.

We want every ambassador to gain valuable experience.

This includes CV-boosting skills, personal development opportunities, and fun social activities.

Meetings alternate between Liverpool and Manchester, from 5:30–7:30pm. Can’t attend in person? Join us online. We cover travel costs and provide food and drinks.

The best way to find out more is to hear from our ambassadors past and present.

So please enjoy the video, photos, and news!

If you want to find out more, please fill in the form or contact me directly via email. You can also call on 0151 600 7700.
