Connect To Your Future - a bespoke mentoring and employability programme for young people across Greater Manchester - has been shortlisted in this year's Manchester Youth Buzz Awards.
Connect To Your Future is open to young people across Greater Manchester aged 15-19 who are not in education, employment or training or at risk of that.
It seeks to support young people who are affected by the longer term impact of the pandemic, who are experiencing disadvantage and not engaged with other mainstream provision. Connect To Your Future provides additional bespoke mentoring support and enrichment activities that are tailored to suit each young person’s needs.
The project was commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority, and is funded by the European Social Fund.
It has been running for 12 months and in the last year Connect To Your Future has supported over 600 young people to gain employment, or access education and training.
The winner of the award will be announced this evening (March 2) at the Edwardian Hotel, Manchester.
